The Story: Andrew Greaves, a fugitive from Debtor 's Prison in England, had gathered a rough & scarred crew about him to prey upon rich ships in the West Indies. He was known as a sort of sea-going, laughing "Robin Hood" for his generous treatment of innocent captives. While looting a large caravel he found a young lady -- the Captain 's sister -- who was on her way to her uncle, the Deputy Governor of Nevis. Having claimed her as his share of the booty, he set her free to join her relatives. After a raid in which he captured a fortune in pearls, he sailed back to Nevis to find the maid & woo her. Saving both her & her uncle from a cutthroat 's attack, he won her heart for his own. -- Aileen Block
